JUDGMENT Deepak Gupta, J. 1. The application was filed before the Tribunal with the following prayer:- The respondents may be directed to issue the appointment letter to the applicant for the post of Lecturer (School Cadre) against sports quota, as he is fully eligible for the said post and his name was sponsored by the respondent No.3 for the said post as per scheme. 2. The Tribunal was abolished and the matter transferred to this Court and hence the writ petition. On a query as to why the steps are not being taken for completing the selection process pursuant to the selection process, Annexure A-4, learned Additional Advocate General submits that the Government intended to make a comprehensive review of the whole process in various Departments and hence the selection could not be completed. That instruction was issued in the year 2003. More than 7 years have elapsed. Therefore, it is only appropriate that the Government finalise the issue without any further delay. Therefore, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondents to finalise the proposed comprehensive review, if not already finalized, within three months from the date of receipt of the copy of the judgement. The action, thus, taken by the authority concerned be communicated to the petitioner within another four weeks.
