Judgment :- 1. This writ petition has been filed praying for a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records of the respondent and quash the impugned order, in Na.Ka.No.A4/4216/2010, dated 8.12.2010, and consequently, direct the respondent to release the Tractor bearing Registration Number TDH 8185 seized on 27.11.2010 by the respondent to the petitioner. 2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent had submitted that the adjudication proceedings, in respect of the vehicle in question had been completed. 3. In view of the averments made by the petitioner and taking into consideration the relief prayed for by the petitioner and since, similar orders have been passed by this Court, the respondent is directed to release the Tractor bearing Registration No.TDH 8185, to the petitioner, on his fulfilling the following conditions: (i) The petitioner shall establish the ownership of the vehicle, by producing the necessary documents, in respect of the vehicle in question. (ii) The petitioner shall deposit a sum of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five thousand only) in cash, with the respondent; (iii) The petitioner shall give an undertaking before the respondent that he shall not use the vehicle, for any illegal purpose, in future and that he shall also produce the vehicle, as and when it is required by the respondent 4. The writ petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
