Judgment :- 1. The petitioner who is the panchayat assistant in the Madoor Village Panchayat, Sanarpatti Panchayat Union, has challenged the order of termination dated nil giving effect to the resolution No.2, dated 21.09.2011. 2. When the matter came up on 04.10.2011, this Court ordered notice of admission but no interim orders have been passed. 3. Learned Government Advocate who took notice for the third respondent Block Development Officer produced a duty certificate, dated 14.11.2011 stating that she is still working as panchayat assistant in the said panchayat. 4. Though the learned counsel for the petitioner agrees the continuance of the office of the petitioner, but he is unable to state about the fate of the resolution under which her services are dispensed with. According to the petitioner, subsequent to the election of new panchayat, she was allowed to continue by the new panchayat council. 5. In the light of the same, the writ petition is dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to renew her plea, in case, the panchayat gives effect to the earlier order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
