JUDGMENT :- 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Central Government Standing counsel appearing for the respondent. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned Central Government Standing counsel, appearing on behalf of the respondent, had stated that the Custom House Agent's licence, granted in favour of the petitioner had been extended, till 2016. He had also submitted that the adjudication proceedings, would be completed, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3. In view of the said submissions made by the learned Central Government Standing counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent and in view of the fact that the petitioner has been carrying on the operations as a Custom House Clearing Agent and in view of the interim order passed by this Court, on 13.04.2006, in W.P.M.P.No.8178 of 2006, this Court finds it appropriate to direct the respondent to complete the adjudication proceedings, in respect of the allegations made against the petitioner, in the impugned order No.VIII/13/10/04-Cus.Pol., dated 10.03.2006, passed by the respondent. The petitioner shall be permitted to carry on the operations as a Custom House Clearing Agent, till final orders are passed by the respondent, pursuant to the said impugned order. The petitioner shall co-operate, fully, in the adjudication proceedings. This Writ Petition is ordered accordingly.
