ORDER In this writ petition, the petitioners have prayed for direction on the respondents to pay the remaining retiral dues of the petitioners including the difference of pay and pension payable to the petitioners on the U.G.C. revised scale. 2. It has been submitted that the petitioners are the retired teachers of G.L.A. College, Daltonganj. After their retirement, the petitioners were entitled to get all the service terminal benefits and retiral benefits, but in spite of their repeated requests and representations some of the retiral dues have not been paid to the petitioners. It has been submitted that though some retiral dues have been paid, the same have been wrongly fixed without calculating the same on the revised U.G.C. Scale, which the petitioners were entitled to get. 3. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents submitted that the petitioners' claim shall be considered by the authorities of the University and appropriate order shall be passed without further delay. 4. In view of the said fair stand taken by learned counsel for the respondents, this writ petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh representation regarding their claim before the competent authorities of the University. The authorities, on receipt of the petitioners' representation, shall consider their claim individually and pass appropriate order in accordance with law within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of the representation. 5. If the petitioner(s) are found entitled to get the amount/arrear of retiral dues as claimed by them, the admitted amount(s) shall be paid to the petitioners within a period of two months thereafter with statutory interest. 6. If the amount(s), found payable to the petitioners, is/are not paid within the said period, the petitioners shall be entitled to get -2 compensatory interest @ 10% per annum in addition to the statutory interest to be calculated from the date the amount(s) were to be paid till the same are actually paid. 7. The University, however, shall be at liberty to realize the amount of compensatory interest from the erring officials.
