JUDGMENT Kurian Joseph, J. The petitioner is aggrieved by Annexure P-10, order passed by the third respondent, Inspector General of Police whereby the petitioner has been dismissed from service. The third respondent has acted in exercise of his power under Rule 16.1(2) of the Punjab Police Rules, as applicable to the State of Himachal Pradesh. Under Rule 16.29, the petitioner has a right of appeal and still further under Rule 16.32 he has remedy by way of revision as well. In that view of the matter we do not think it proper for this Court, at this stage, to go into the details of the matter. It will be open to the petitioner to take all available contentions before the appellate authority. Without prejudice to the liberty to the petitioner to file appeal as above, the writ petition is dismissed. We make it clear that we have not adverted to the merits of the case or the contentions taken by the petitioner and all those contentions are left open. 2. The writ petition is disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any.
