JUDGMENT :- 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents had submitted that the EHT line work had been completed. He had also filed a Counter Affidavit, wherein Paragraph 12 of the said Affidavit reads as follows: "On receipt of Honourable High Court order, dated 21.04.2006, the laying of line work was temporarily stopped upto 27.04.2006 by maintaining the status quo as the case was posted on 27.04.2006. After that as there was no injunction from the High Court, the stringing work was carried out and completed on 29.04.2006. The fact of completion of work as informed to the standing Counsel, Tamil Nadu Electricity Board vide Letter No.SE/GCC/CBE/DB/03/F Rasathavalasu 110 KV SC line/Court Case/D653/2006, dated 03.05.2006. Hence by complying all the procedures, the EHT line work completed and energized." 3. Since, it has been stated that the EHT line works had been completed and energized, the relief sought for by the petitioner, in the present writ petition, cannot be granted, at this stage. Hence, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. However, it would open to the petitioner to make a claim for compensation, if so advised, in the manner known to law.
