JUDGMENT Kurian Joseph All these petitions have been filed with an identical set of prayers and one such set of prayer reads as follows:- “(i) That the Petitioner is entitled for grant of work charge status in term of judgment passed by this Hon’ble Court in Rakesh Kumar vs. State of H.P. in CWP No. 2735 of 2010 decided on 28.07.2010. (ii) That the arrears w e. f. completion of 8 years with interest may also be granted in favour of the petitioner. (iii) That the petitioner be considered for regularization in term of Rakesh Kumar versus State CWP 2735/2010 on completion of 8 years. (iv) The actual benefit of 8 years services be given for work charge status. (v) That the seniority and consequential benefits may also be granted in favour of the petitioner w.e.f. after completion of 8 years with 240 days in one calendar year.” 2. The petitioners claim work charge status on completion of eight years of continuous service as daily waged Beldar / Chowkidar. According to the petitioners, the issue is covered in their favour by the judgment of this Court rendered in CWP No. 2735 of 2010, Rakesh Kumar versus State of H.P. and others. It is for the respondents to examine the matter. Therefore, these writ petitions are disposed of directing the respondents concerned to examine the matter in the light of the judgment referred to above and take appropriate action thereon within a period of four months from the date of production of copy of this judgment along with a copy of the writ petition(s) and the copy of the judgment referred to above. 3. The writ petitions are disposed of, so also the pending application(s), if any.
