JUDGMENT Petitioners 1 and 2 are Commercial Tax Inspectors and the 3rd petitioner is a person who has retired from the post of Commercial Tax Inspector. By Exts. P1 and P2, they were awarded the punishment of barring of 3 increments without cumulative effect pursuant to disciplinary proceedings. Against the same, the petitioners have filed Exts. P3 to P5 statutory appeals before the 1st respondent. The petitioners seek a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Exts. P3 to P5 expeditiously. Having heard the learned Government Pleader also, I dispose of this writ petition with a direction to the 1st respondent to consider and pass orders on Exts. P3 to P5 appeals, after affording an opportunity of being heard to the petitioners, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
