Judgment :- 1. Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose of the appeal sent by the petitioner on 1.12.2010 within the time to be stipulated by this Court. 2. Mr.L.S.M.Hasan Fizal, learned Government Advocate, takes notice on behalf of the respondent. Considering the nature of relief sought for in the writ petition and by consent of both the parties, the writ petition is taken up for disposal. 3. Petitioner seeks a mandamus to direct the respondent to dispose of the appeal filed by the petitioner said to have been submitted to the respondent. 4. On records, there is no proof of submitting the appeal by the petitioner to the respondent. In such of the matter, if the appeal has been filed and is on record, the respondent is directed to dispose of the same in accordance with law expeditiously preferably within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is ordered as above. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
