Judgment :- 1. Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to consider the applications of the petitioner dated 9.2.2010, 29.12.2010 and 18.1.2011, in the light of the orders of the Madurai Bench of Madras High Court, Madurai, in W.P.Nos.2113 of 2008 dated 10.11.2008 and this Court order dated 30.8.2010 in W.P.No.7879/2010 and dated 22.12.2010 in W.P.No.22963 of 2010 and as per the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Wood Based Industries Rules, 2010, as applied in the case of similarly placed persons and consequently include the name of the applicant in the final list of sawmills and issue licence under Rule 11 of the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Wood Based Industries Rules, 2010 to run the sawmills of the petitioner. 2. Mr.S.N.Kirupanandham, learned Special Government Pleader (Forests), takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent of both parties, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 3. Petitioner seeks licence as per the provisions of the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Wood Based Industries Rules, 2010 for which an application has been made and the petitioner seeks the authority to grant the licence as granted in the similarly placed persons so as to approach the court and obtain orders viz., W.P.No.2113 of 2008 dated 10.11.2008 and W.P.No.7879 of 2010 dated 30.8.2010 and similar writ petitions. 4. Considering the nature of relief sought for and the application that has been made and also taking note of the previous orders of this Court, the respondents are directed to consider the application of the petitioner as per the Tamil Nadu Regulation of Wood Based Industries Rules, 2010 without any discrimination and pass appropriate orders within a reasonable period of time positively within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The Writ Petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.`
