JUDGMENT Kurian Joseph,J. The petitioner is aggrieved since an amount of ` 19,000/- has been with-held from his gratuity. The petitioner retired in the year 2005. The objection is that the amount of ` 15,000/- which had been disbursed mainly for combating an epidemic plague and ` 4,000/-towards contingent advance have not been duly accounted for by the petitioner till date. It is unfortunate that the advance given in the years 1982 and 1984 had not been settled even when the petitioner was in service for over 20 years prior to his retirement. Be that as it may. The petitioner may submit his explanation regarding the expenditure of the amount alongwith the duplicate of the vouchers, if any, available with him. This shall be done within one month and within another four months the entire dispute shall be finalized /settled once for all by the 1st /2nd respondent. 2. With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of. Pending applications, if any, shall also stand disposed of.
