JUDGMENT : 1. The petitioner has approached this Court with the prayer for issuance of a writ in the nature of Mandamus, directing the Central Government to dispose off the representation made by the petitioner for taking over the 8th respondent by invoking Section 18AA of the Industries (Development and Regulations) Act 1951. 2. Learned counsel for the respondents states, that during the pendency of this writ petition, the petitioner entered into a settlement under Section 18(c) of the Industries (Development and Regulations) Act 1951, with the management on 6th September, 2009, wherein, the petitioner has also undertaken to withdraw this writ petition. 3. In view of the settlement entered into between the parties, this writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. 4. However, the petitioner shall be at liberty to get the petition revived, in case the statement is found to be incorrect. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
