JUDGMENT Kurian Joseph, J. The writ petition is filed with the following prayers: “(i) That writ in the nature of certiorari may kindly be issued to quash Annexure P-1 dated 11.02.2011. (ii) That writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued, directing the respondents to allow the petitioner to continue at the present place of posting i.e. H.P.S.E.B Sub Division Churag. The respondents may kindly be directed to decide Annexure P-2.” 2. Since the petitioner has filed Annexure P-2 and no action has been taken on the same, we do not propose to go into the merits of the case at this stage. There will be a direction to the second respondent to take appropriate action on Annexure P-2 within a week from the date of production of a copy of this judgment alongwith a copy of the writ petition by the petitioner before the second respondent. We make it clear that, subject to the decision as above, the petitioner shall be permitted to work at the place where there is a vacancy. In case, the post still remains vacant at Churag, the petitioner shall be continued there. 3. The petition is disposed of so also the pending application(s), if any. Dasti copy.
