JUDGMENT Kurian Joseph, J. The petitioner claims continuance in service upto the age of 60 years. In the case of those appointed prior to 10.5.2001, they are entitled to continue upto the age of 60 years. In the case of the petitioner, as can be seen from Annexures P-2 and P-4, his date of appointment is 1.1.2001. Therefore, this writ petition is allowed to the extent of declaring that the petitioner shall be entitled to continue till he attains the age of 60 years. 3. The writ petition is disposed of, so also the pending applications, if any.
