Judgment :- 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 2. This writ petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the first respondent to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner, dated 29.10.2010. 3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents had submitted that the representation of the petitioner, dated 29.10.2010, has already been considered and an order had been passed by the Commercial Tax Officer-in-charge, Karaikal, on 6.12.2010. Therefore, the writ petition has become infructuous. 4. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. However, it goes without saying that it would be open to the petitioner to challenge the order of the Commercial Tax Officer -in-charge, Karaikal, dated 6.12.2010, if so advised, before the appropriate forum, in the manner known to law. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
