JUDGMENT Kurian Joseph, J. The writ petition is filed with the following prayers: “(a) That the respondents may kindly be directed to grant promotion to the applicant as Peon/Chowkidar w.e.f. 1.2.2006, the date when the similar situated persons/batch fellow of the applicant were promoted as such. (b) That the respondents be directed to pay the difference of wages/arrears of pay etc. w.e.f. 1.2.2006 along with interest at the rate of 12% per annum. (c) That the respondents be also directed to count the seniority of the applicant w.e.f. the year 1.2.2006 on the post of Peon/Chowkidar.” 2. There is no reply as yet. According to the petitioner, the juniors to him have already been promoted. There will be a direction to the 3rd respondent to look into the matter and take appropriate action in accordance with law. In case the juniors to the petitioner have been promoted, the petitioner also shall be granted the promotion. The needful shall be done within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment along with a copy of the memorandum of Original Application before the Tribunal. The action thus taken will be communicated to the petitioner. The Registry will communicate this judgment along with a copy of the Original Application to the third respondent and the petitioner within a period of two weeks. We make it clear that the petitioner shall in any case be extended the benefit of Annexure A-1, Award. 3. The writ petition is disposed of, so also the pending applications, if any.
