JUDGMENT Kurian Joseph,J. The writ petition is filed with the following prayer:- “(i) That writ in the nature of mandamus may kindly be issued directing respondent No. 1 to hold the meeting of Departmental Promotional Committee for the posts of Assistant Engineers against two vacant posts immediately, which are lying vacant since April/June, 2005. 2. It is stated in Para-20 as follows:- “That since the litigation on seniority list has come to an end and moreover the regularization of Sh. Madan Kumar, Junior Engineer, as ordered vide order dated 18.08.2007 has also been confirmed vide Order dated 10.8.2010, therefore, after confirmation the name of Shri Madan Kumar, is to get appropriate placement in the seniority list which is being circulated and immediately after circulation of seniority list, the process of convening the DPC for filling up vacant posts of Assistant Engineers in the Urban Development Department will be initiated, on completion of all codal formalities.” 3. Therefore, the writ petition is disposed of by directing respondents No. 1 and 2 to hold the Departmental Promotional Committee and finalize the process within a period of two months from the date of production of a copy of this judgment by the petitioner before the first respondent. 3. With these observations, the writ petition stands disposed of, so also the pending applications, if any.
