JUDGMENT :- 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that he had made a representation, dated 21.1.2011, to the third respondent and that it would suffice, if the third respondent is directed to dispose of the said representation, dated 21.1.2011, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period. 3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court. The learned counsel had also submitted that no action would be initiated against the petitioner, till the representation of the petitioner, dated 21.1.2011, is disposed of by the third respondent. 4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on either side, the third respondent is directed to dispose of the representation, dated 21.1.2011, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The third respondent is directed not to initiate any action against the petitioner, in respect of the Water and Sewerage Tax said to be payable by the petitioner, till the disposal of the representation, dated 21.1.2011. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. The writ petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
