ABHAY M.THIPSAY

body2012
Judgment :- Heard Mrs. Rohini Wagh, learned advocate for the applicant and Mrs. A.A. Mane, learned APP for the State. 2. I have gone through the application and the annexures thereto. It appears that the alleged offences were committed during the period from 01.04.2004 to 06.04.2010. The First Information Report was registered on 12.06.2010. According to the applicant, his brother-the accused no.1 mentioned in the FIR, was arrested by the Subramanya Nagar Police Station, Bangalore with the assistance of Marine Drive Police Station, Mumbai. 3. Nobody is present today from the Marine Drive Police Station though notice was, reportedly, given to that police station. In my opinion, the applicant needs to be protected for some time, which he would need to move the Court having territorial jurisdiction for anticipatory bail, or bail. 4. The application is allowed. 5. In the event of the arrest of the applicant in C.R.No.153 of 2012 of the Subramanya Nagar Police Station, Bangalore with the assistance of the Marine Drive Police Station, Mumbai, he be released on bail in the sum of Rs.30,000/-, with one surety in the like amount. The applicant may deposit cash of Rs.30,000/-in lieu of surety. 6. This order shall remain in force only till 11.06.2012 and shall stand cancelled automatically thereafter.
