Judgment :- 1. Heard the learned counsels appearing for both sides. 2. The main contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is that the third respondent had given oral instructions, to the petitioner, to stop quarrying operations in the land comprised in Survey No.172/1A (P) at Addakuriki Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District, measuring 1.00.0 Hectare. 3. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, a counter affidavit, dated 18.2.2012, had been filed on behalf of the third respondent. 4. In paragraph 10 of the said counter affidavit, it has been stated that the petitioner had not applied for the issuance of transport permits, on payment of the seigniorage fee, after 5.12.2011. If the petitioner applies for despatch slips, for the transportation of the granite blocks, the officials concerned would measure the same, in the presence of the petitioner, and issue the necessary permits, if the petitioner is entitled to the same, as per the procedures established by law. 5. The learned counsel appearing for the respondents had also submitted that no oral instructions had been issued to the petitioner to stop the quarrying operations, as alleged by the petitioner. In such circumstances, since, no further orders are necessary, the writ petition stands closed. No costs. Connected M.P.No.1 of 2012 is closed.
