Judgment :- 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned counsel appearing for the respondent. 2. The petitioner has prayed that this Court may be pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to dispose of the second appeal said to have been filed by the petitioner, on 23.8.2011, under Section 36(6) of the Tamilnadu Minor Mineral Concession Rules, 1959, within a specified period. 3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent, has no objection for this Court passing such an order. 4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on either side, the respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal, filed by the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. The writ petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
