Judgment Heard. 2. The petitioner has filed this Public Interest Litigation for the following reliefs:- “(i) That, the contract awarded in favour of the respondent No.3 may kindly be ordered to be quashed with further direction to the respondents not to proceed with the aforesaid contract. (ii) That, respondent No.1 be further directed to hold an enquiry with respect to the conduct of respondent No.2 officials who have given undue benefit to respondent No.3 and awarded contract in his favour in violation of the terms and conditions issued with respect to awarding contract and thus committed illegality and caused financial loss to the government exchequer. (iii) That, any other relief which is suitable in the facts and circumstances of the case in favour of the petitioner including the costs throughout may also be granted.” 3. Earlier, a petition was filed by the petitioner before this Court in regard to installment of advertising board at different places within the limits of Municipal Council, which was registered as Writ Petition No.3163 of 2012. 4. This Court dismissed the aforesaid writ petition vide order dated 18-05-2012. . 5. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent No.3 submitted that an application filed by the petitioner before the Collector and in the aforesaid application, the petitioner submitted that the tender notice was not published properly and he was interested in submitting bid. 6. In this view of the matter, it cannot be said that present petition has been filed by the petitioner in the public interest at large. Apart from this, earlier this Court has also dismissed the petition on similar subject. Hence, we do not find any merit in this petition. It is hereby dismissed. 7. No order as to costs.
