Judgment :- 1. These writ petition are filed to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to assign, allot and issue House site Patta to the petitioners as per the Beneficiaries List issued by the second respondent on 17.6.1994 in respect of the lands acquired pursuant to the notification issued by the Government in G.O.(3D) No.705, Adi Dravidar and Tribal Welfare Department, dated 4.10.1994. 2. The petitioner in all the writ petitions belonged to Adi Dravidar community and seek allotment of house sites as per the Beneficiaries List issued by the second respondent on 17.6.1994. The specific case of the petitioner in all these writ petitions is that in the said list names of several persons belonging to the same community were considered and house sites were allotted. The specific names of beneficiaries, which were set out in the list dated 17.6.1994 has been modified by vested interest and the names of the petitioners were deleted. Therefore, the present writ petitions have been filed. 3. This Court at the time admission, passed the following interim order dated 11.11.2002. "Government Advocate takes notice. Any allotment to be made will be subject to the ultimate result in the writ petitions. The second respondent is directed to inform the allottees, if any allotment is made, in the allotment letter itself that their allotment is subject to the result of the writ petitions. All the W.P.M.Ps. are accordingly disposed of. " 4. The respondents have not filed any counter so far. However, considering the nature of the grievance and the interim order already passed, the District Collector, Tiruppur District is directed to look into the claim of the petitioner in all these writ petitions for grant of house sites under the Adi Diravidar and Tribal Welfare Category. The District Collector shall take note of the interim order passed by this Court and consider the representation of each one of the petitioners as and when presented along with a copy of this order favourably if not already granted such benefit. These writ petitions are disposed of accordingly. No costs.
