JUDGMENT Mr. Mehinder Singh Sullar, J.: (Oral) - Petitioner Naginder Singh son of Jarnail Singh has preferred the instant petition, for regular bail in a case registered against him by means of FIR No.60 dated 18.4.1998, under Sections 279, 304-A, 427 IPC, by the police of Police Station, Sadar Ropar, District Ropar, invoking the provisions of Section 439 Cr.P.C. 2. Notice of the petition was issued to the State. 3. After hearing the learned counsel for the parties, going through the record with their valuable assistance and after deep consideration of the entire matter, to my mind, the present petition for regular bail deserves to be accepted in this context. 4. It is not a matter of dispute that initially the petitioner was granted bail in bailable offences. Subsequently as he did not appear in the Court, so, he was declared Proclaimed Offender. The petitioner himself surrendered in the Court on 15.9.2012. Since then, he is in judicial custody. He is no longer required to be detained in jail for any other purpose. All the offences alleged against the petitioner are bailable and triable by the Court of Magistrate. There is no history of his previous involvement in any other case. The conclusion of the trial will naturally take a long time. 5. In the light of aforesaid reasons, taking into consideration the totality of the facts and circumstances, emanating from the record, as discussed here-in-above, the instant petition for regular bail is hereby accepted. The petitioner is ordered to be released on regular bail on his furnishing adequate bail bonds and surety bonds to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. ---------0.B.S.0------------
