Judgment :- 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 2. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that it would suffice, if the appeal of the petitioner, dated 2.1.2012, is directed to be disposed of by the first respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period. 3. The Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court. 4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on either side, the first respondent is directed to dispose of the appeal, dated 2.1.2012, after giving an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner and the fourth respondent, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. The petitioner is directed to furnish to the first respondent a copy of the appeal, dated 2.1.2012, along with a copy of this order. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
