Judgment :- 1. Mr.Kanmani Annamalai, the learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondent. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice if the impugned order of the respondent, dated 17.2.2012, is set aside and if the respondent is directed to pass a fresh assessment order, after considering the objections to be filed by the petitioner, along with the relevant documents, within a specified period. 3. The learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondent, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court. 4. Hence, the impugned order of the respondent, dated 17.2.2012, is set aside. The petitioner is permitted to submit all its objections, along with the relevant documents, to the respondent, within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receiving the objections to be filed by the petitioner, along with the relevant documents, the respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, after giving an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of eight weeks thereafter. The writ petition is ordered accordingly. No costs. Connected M.P.No.1 of 2012 is closed.
