Judgment :- 1. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner had submitted that a show cause notice, dated 26.12.2011, had been issued to the petitioner, by the District Collector, Thiruvallur District. The petitioner had submitted his reply, dated 28.12.2011. 2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner had also submitted that, based on the reply submitted by the petitioner, a report would be placed before the District Collector, Thiruvallur District, the first respondent herein. Thereafter, an appropriate order would be passed, considering the reply submitted by the petitioner, on 28.12.2011, and the other relevant records. 3. In view of the above, the District Collector, the first respondent herein, is directed to pass appropriate orders relating to the request made by the petitioner, in the present writ petition, considering the reply submitted by him, on 28.12.2011, and the other relevant records, and after giving an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is ordered accordingly. No costs.
