Judgment :- 1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that the entire amount of Rs.23,10,873/-, said to be payable by the petitioner, as per the notice, dated 21.03.2012, issued by the Commercial Tax Officer, Sriperumbudur Assessment Circle, would be paid by the petitioner, in five equated monthly instalments, beginning from the month of April, 2012. He had also submitted that, with regard to the penalty and interest payable by the petitioner, the petitioner would make a claim under the existing 'samadhan scheme'. 3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents had submitted that he has no objection for this Court passing such an order. 4. In view of the above, the amount of Rs.23,10,873/-shall be paid by the petitioner, to the respondent, in five equated monthly installments. The petitioner shall pay the first instalment, on or before 10.04.2012, and the other remaining instalments, on or before the 10th of every subsequent calendar month. The Writ petition is ordered accordingly. No costs. Connected M.P.No.1 of 2012 is closed.
