JUDGMENT 1. Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to declare the conversion of the land to an extent of 1197 Square feet at Plot No.58A, Sri Abirami Nagar, Koladi Village, Thiruverkadu, Chennai-600077, comprised in Survey No.80/1D, into Panchayat Road as illegal and also to declare that the said land is suitable for construction of a house. 2. Ms.V.M.Velumani, learned Special Government Pleader, takes notice on behalf of the respondent. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 3. Petitioner claims to be the owner of property and for a direction to convert the land in question as lands suitable for construction of house. Petitioner issued a legal notice dated 1.3.2012 to the respondent. This writ petition is filed stating that no action has been taken on the legal notice dated 1.3.2012. 4. In the affidavit it is stated that one Gajalakshmi, the purchaser of the land in question has initiated legal proceedings against the petitioner. Petitioner is entitled to pursue the same before the competent Court or before the competent higher authority in accordance with law and seek appropriate relief. The writ petition filed at this stage is premature. 5. With the above observation, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
