Jitendra Chauhan, J.(ORAL);— Learned counsel for complainant-respondent No. 2 states that he has no objection to the quashing of the present FIR No. 119 dated 26.06.2012, under Section 406/498-A of the Indian Penal Code, (for short 'the IPC') registered at Police Station Dakha, District Ludhiana (rural). She states that the petitioner may be directed to come forward to make statements in pursuance to the agreement reached between them at the time of second motion, in the divorce proceedings by mutual consent. 2. Learned counsel after seeking instructions from the petitioner, who is present in the Court states that he undertakes to appear before the trial Court and shall make statement. He shall appear on the next date of hearing which is stated to be 31.01.2013 and make a statement in terms of agreement. 3. Keeping in view, the compromise this petition is allowed, FIR No. 119 dated 26.06.2012, under Section 406/498-A of the Indian Penal Code, registered at Police Station Dakha, District Ludhiana (rural) and consequent proceedings are hereby quashed qua the petitioners Sukhpreet Singh, Balwinder Kaur, Kulwinder Singh and Balwinder Singh. If the petitioner does not appear or makes statement with regard to compromise in terms of the undertaking given by him, present petition shall be deemed to be dismissed.
