Judgment :- 1. This Writ Petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a writ of Mandamus to forbear the 2nd respondent from extending the lease in favour of the respondents 3 and 4, for the collection of the toll in the daily market and the weekly shandy of Tharamangalam Selection Grade Town Panchayat. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had produced the proceedings of the second respondent, dated 23.01.2012, extending the license granted in favour of the respondents 3 and 4, for a further period of three years, from 2012-13 to 2014-15. It had also been submitted that the necessary license fee had also been remitted, by the respondents 3 and 4, pursuant to the said proceedings. 3. In view of the above, the Writ Petition has become infructuous. Hence, it is dismissed, as infructuous. However, it is made clear that it would be open to the petitioner to challenge the proceedings of the second respondent, dated 23.01.2012, if so advised, before the appropriate forum, in the manner known to law. M.P.No.1 of 2012 is closed. No costs.
