Judgment :- 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, as well as the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the respondents. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that the petitioner would submit an application, under Rule 27(4) of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Distribution Code, 2004, to the second respondent, within a period of two weeks from today. He had further submitted that it would suffice, if the second respondent is directed to consider the application to be submitted by the petitioner, in accordance with Rule 27(4) of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Distribution Code, 2004, and pass appropriate orders thereon, within a specified period. 3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents has no objection for this Court passing such an order. 4. In view of the above, the petitioner is permitted to make an application to the second respondent, under Rule 27(4) of the Tamil Nadu Electricity Distribution Code, 2004, within a period of two weeks from today, along with the necessary fees and charges, if any. On such, application being submitted the second respondent shall consider the same and pass orders thereon, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, as well as the third respondent, within a period of four weeks thereafter. It is made clear that this Court has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. The writ petition is ordered accordingly. M.P.Nos.1 and 2 of 2012 are closed. No costs.
