Judgment :- 1. Learned Additional Government Pleader informs this Court that the petitioners were promoted as Block Development Officers and they joined duty as such on 11.12.2006. 2. In view of the fact that the petitioners have sought the relief of promoting them as Block Development Officers, the writ petition has become an infructuous one. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioners has also made an endorsement in the case bundle to that effect. 3. Inasmuch as the writ petition has become a infructuous one, recording the said fact, the writ petition is dismissed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
