Judgment :- 1. Heard the learned counsels appearing for the parties concerned. 2. The main contention of the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is that the petitioner has been in service, in the Forest Department, as a Plot Watcher, from 1.1.1986. Though he had been in service, continuously, from the initial date of his appointment, he had not been regularised in service, as per the Government orders, in G.O.Ms.No.64, Environment and Forest Department, dated 8.3.1999 and G.O.Ms.No.95, Environment and Forest Department, dated 7.8.2009. 3. He had further submitted that similarly placed persons, as that of the petitioner, had been regularised by the respondent Department, as per the orders passed by this Court, including the order, dated 4.4.2012, made in W.P.No.8978 of 2012. 4. He had further submitted that no appeal had been filed against the order of this Court, dated 4.4.2012, made in W.P.No.8978 of 2012, and therefore, it has become final. 5. Per contra, the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents had submitted that the order passed by this Court, on 4.4.2012, made in W.P.No.8978 of 2012, in respect of a person similarly situated, like that of the petitioner, had been implemented. Accordingly, the writ petitioner would also be regularised in service, as per the Government orders, in Government orders in G.O.Ms.No.64, Environment and Forest Department, dated 8.3.1999, and G.O.Ms.No.95, Environment and Forest Department, dated 7.8.2009. 6. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents had also submitted that appropriate steps would be undertaken by the respondent Department for the regularisation of the petitioner, in service, as prayed for by him, as expeditiously as possible. 7. In view of the said submissions made by the learned Government Advocate appearing on behalf of the respondents and since, no further orders are necessary, the writ petition stands closed. No costs.
