Judgment :- 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, as well as the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the respondents. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 2 and 3, had submitted that a Division Bench of this Court, by its order, dated 12.06.2012, made in W.A.No.2175 of 2011, had set aside the impugned selection list, dated 08.09.2009, in respect of the respondents 4 and 5 therein. A further direction had been issued to the Tamil Nadu Public Service commission to re-do the exercise, by giving preferential treatment to the appellant in the said writ appeal, in view of the fact that he was possessing the qualification of Post Diploma in Automobile Engineering. 3. The learned counsel appearing on behalf of respondents 2 and 3 had further submitted that the petitioner is also a similarly placed person, as that of the appellant in Writ Appeal No.2175 of 2011. Therefore, while re-doing the exercise of selecting the candidates, for the post of Motor Vehicle Inspector Grade II, the petitioner in this Writ Petition would also to be considered, as he is also possessing the qualification of Post Diploma in Automobile Engineering. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents 2 and 3, this Court is of the view that no further orders are necessary in the present Writ Petition. Hence, this Writ Petition stands closed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed.
