Judgment :- Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to grant electricity service connection to the petitioner pursuant to her application dated 20.04.2012 in respect of the premises bearing No.5/252, Dr.Ambedkar Salai, Canalpuram, Palavakkam, Chennai 41, within a time limit fixed by this Court. 2. Mr.P.Gunaraj, learned counsel takes notice on behalf of the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 3. The writ petition is opposed by the learned counsel for the respondents stating that there is a civil suit pending. 4. In such view of the matter, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 3.7.2012 on its own merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders either way expeditiously, preferably, within a period of ten days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
