Judgment :- 1. Mr.S.Navaneethan, the learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. 2. Though the prayer is for a larger relief, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice, if this Court is pleased to set aside the impugned proceedings of the third respondent, dated 5.12.2011, and if the petitioner is permitted to submit a fresh application for the renewal of Mini Bus permit in question, before the third respondent, and if the third respondent is directed to consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a specified period. 3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents, has no objection for such an order being passed by this Court. 4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on either side, the impugned proceedings of the third respondent, dated 5.12.2011, is set aside. The petitioner is permitted to submit a fresh application to the third respondent for the renewal of the permit, along with the necessary documents, within a period of fifteen days from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the application to be submitted by the petitioner, the third respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks thereafter. However, it is made clear that this Court, by this order, has not expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter. 5. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of, with the above directions. No costs.
