ORDER : W.P. (C) No. 657 of 1995 Hearing concluded. Judgment reserved. I.A. No. 41 of 2007 2. I.A. No. 41 of 2007, has been filed by Ms. Bina Gupta, learned Advocate-on-Record for M/s. Shiv Priya Overseas (P) Ltd., the respondent No. 10 in the writ petition, praying for her discharge, since a winding up order has already been passed against the Company, which is now being represented by the Official Liquidator. 3. Under the Scheme of the Companies Act, 1956, once the Official Liquidator is appointed upon an order of winding up being passed, he takes over the affairs of the Company and represents the Company in all its aspects. Consequently, the Company can no longer be represented by the Advocate-on-Record, who has prayed for such discharge. 4. Having regard to the above, we allow the interlocutory application and direct that Ms. Bina Gupa, be discharged from acting as the Advocate-on-Record for the Company, M/s. Shiv Priya Overseas (P) Ltd. I.A. No. 41 of 2007, is disposed of accordingly. 5. Let all the other pending applications and petitions, including the contempt proceedings which are alleged to have been taken suo moto, along with S.L.P. (C) No.16175 of 19097 and C.A. No. 7660 of 1997, be listed for further consideration on 29th February, 2012. C.A. Nos. 8300-8301 of 2004 6. Since learned counsel for the appellants in C.A. Nos. 8300-8301 of 2004, is not present, let civil appeal be adjourned till tomorrow (11.01.2012) and let it retain its position in the list.
