Judgment :- 1. This writ petition has been filed praying that this Court may be pleased to issue a writ of mandamus, to direct the first respondent to accept the property tax paid by the petitioner, in respect of the property at No.7/E8, Veerasamy Mudali Street, Vandavasi Town, Thiruvannamalai District, and to issue receipts for the said payment. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, it has been brought to the notice of this Court that a Civil Suit, in O.S.No.220 of 2008, is pending on the file of the District Munsif Court, Vandavasi, wherein, the title of the property in question is in dispute. The petitioner and the second respondent herein are parties to the said suit. 3. In such circumstances, this Court is not inclined to grant the relief, as prayed for by the petitioner, in the present writ petition. Hence, the writ petition stands dismissed. However, it is open to the petitioner and the second respondent to agitate the matter before the appropriate Civil Court, seeking the necessary relief, in respect of the property bearing No.7/E8, Veerasamy Mudali Street, Vandavasi Town, Thiruvannamalai District, as per law. No costs.
