Judgment :- 1. Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records on the file of the first respondent in Industrial Dispute No.250/93 dated 27.8.96 and quash the same as illegal and direct the second respondent to reinstate the petitioner in service with all attendant benefits. 2. The writ petition has been filed challenging the award of the Labour Court passed on 27.8.1996. The reason for filing the writ petition after more than six years is that the criminal case initiated against the petitioner ended in acquittal in C.C.No.2 of 1998 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate No.II, Vellore by order dated 8.4.2002. This appear to be the only reason in filing the writ petition after the much delay. 3. This Court at this point of time is not inclined to interfere with the order of the Labour Court. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to make a detailed representation to the second respondent or the third respondent as the case may be to consider the claim for appropriate relief, if any, based on the acquittal in the criminal case. The Writ Petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
