JAIN-I, J.—Heard learned counsel for the parties. 2. At the request of learned counsel for the parties, arguments were heard and the appeal is being disposed off finally. 3. The claimants/parents of deceased Rishikesh, who died in motor accident on 13.01.2004, have preferred this appeal for enhancement of amount of compensation. Motor Accident Claims Tribunal, Karauli(for short 'the Tribunal') has awarded total compensation of Rs. 1,62,000/- with interest @ 5% per annum vide award dated 10.07.2006. 4. Learned counsel for the parties argued the case, but during the course of arguments, they agreed that deceased was only 13 years of age, therefore, as per various judgments of the Supreme Court and of this Court, it will be appropriate to enhance the amount of compensation to Rs. 2,25,000/-. 5. Since both the parties have fairly and frankly agreed to the amount of compensation, therefore, without referring and discussing the facts of the case, I think it fit and proper to enhance the amount of compensation. 6. Consequently, appeal is partly allowed. Impugned award passed by the Tribunal is modified. The compensation of Rs. 1,62,000/- awarded by the learned Tribunal is enhanced to Rs. 2,25,000/-, as agreed by the parties. The claimants will be entitled to get interest @ 7% per annum on the enhanced amount from the date of application till the actual date of realisation of the amount. 7. As prayed, three months time is allowed to Respondent No. 3 to make the payment.
