body2012
Judgment 1. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner, as well as the learned Government Advocate (Taxes) appearing on behalf of the respondents. 2. This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the notice, dated 05.10.2012, issued by the second respondent. 3. It is seen that the impugned notice issued by the second respondent, dated 05.10.2012, asking the petitioner to explain as to whether the information furnished by the petitioner, relating to the ownership of the property in question is a correct information. It has also been stated that, by the impugned notice, dated 05.10.2012, issued by the second respondent, the petitioner has been asked to submit his explanation, within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of a copy of the said notice. 4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing on behalf of the parties concerned, it is seen that the seven days period granted to the petitioner, to submit his explanation, expires today. Therefore, it is made clear that would be open to the petitioner to show cause to the impugned notice issued by the second respondent, dated 05.10.2012, within a period of fifteen days from today. This Writ Petition is ordered accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
