Judgment :- 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the writ petition, the learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondents had placed before this Court a communication, dated 05.10.2012, issued by the Principal Secretary to Government, Industries (MMC.1) Department, Secretariat, Chennai, which is as follows: "I am directed to invite your attention to the reference cited and to inform that the Amirtha Engineering Company has sent their representation dated 14.09.2012 received in this department on 15.09.2012. The matter is under consideration of the Government and it will take some more time to take a decision of the same. I therefore request you to seek adjournment for 8 weeks in this case to file counter affidavit." 3. In view of the said communication, dated 05.10.2012, the first respondent is directed to pass an appropriate order on the representation of the petitioner, dated 13.09.2012, as expeditiously as possible, not later than 3 months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
