Judgment :- This Writ Petition is filed praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's application dated 17.8.2012, submitted on 23.8.2012 for grant of Stone Quarry lease in respect of lands comprised in Survey Nos.69, 70/1A Part, 70/1B Part and 70/2 Part in Adavanapalli Village, Hosur Taluk, Krishnagiri District for a period of 5 years within a timeframe as may be fixed by this Court. 2. Ms.V.M.Velumani, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 3. The Special Government Pleader states that the lease period granted to the petitioner has already been over and the authority will consider the present application dated 17.8.2012 for fresh lease, if the petitioner is eligible in accordance with law. She seeks 12 weeks time to consider the application of the petitioner. 4. Considering the relief sought for by the petitioner and the submission made by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents, the first respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's application dated 17.8.2012 on its own merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5. The writ petition is disposed of as above. No costs.
