JUDGMENT Per Deepak Gupta, J. The petitioner, by means of this petition, has challenged her transfer from G.P.S. Lurhani, GhumI to G.P.S. Tepra, Education Block Sadar, both in District Bilaspur. 2. The grievance of the petitioner is twofold. Firstly, she has been transferred in the midacademic session and studies of her child, who is studying in Class 3, shall be affected. Her second grievance is that her husband is in Army and she may be retained at G.P.S. Lurhani. On the one hand, we have the grievance of the petitioner, but on the other hand, the fact is that for the last ten years, the petitioner has remained posted at G.P.S. Lurhani. 3. Transfer is an incidence of service and no employee can claim to remain posted at one place, for an indefinite period. Since the petitioner has spent more than ten years at G.P.S. Lurhani, we find no merit in the writ petition, which is dismissed accordingly. All the pending application(s), if any are also rejected.
