Judgment :- 1. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 2. At this stage of the hearing of the Writ Petition, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner had submitted that it would suffice if the petitioner is permitted to make a representation to the third respondent, regarding the refund of licence fee, in respect of the retail liquor vending shops, at Door No.101-A Kathivakkam High Road, Korukkupet, Chennai-21, selling Indian Made Foreign Liquor, and if the third respondent is directed to consider the same and pass orders thereon, on merits and in accordance with law within a specified period, as fixed by this Court. 3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents has no objection for this Court passing such an order. 4. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsels appearing for the parties concerned, the petitioner is permitted to make a representation to the third respondent, within a period of four weeks from today, and on such representation being submitted, the third respondent shall consider the same and pass appropriate orders thereon, after giving an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, not later than twelve weeks thereafter. 5. This Writ Petition is ordered accordingly. No costs.
