M.M.Kumar, CJ;— On 11.07.2012, a proposal was made that the matter in dispute could be resolved by paying a sum of Rs.1.25 lacs to the legal heirs of the deceased- workman. According to the order, the proposal was acceptable to Mr. Zahoor Ahmad Shah, learned counsel, who had put in appearance for legal heirs of the deceased-workman. However, it was subject to the instructions to be obtained by the learned counsel for the appellant, Mr. R. A. Jan. Today, Mr. Salman Matoo, learned counsel states that J&K Khadi and Village Industries Board is prepared to accept the proposal and the payment of Rs.1.25 lacs shall be made to the legal heirs of the deceased-workman within a period of one month from today. In view of the above, both the appeals have been settled along with the IA(s) and are disposed of accordingly.
