Judgment : 1. Heard both sides in respect of bail sought by the petitioner who is said to be accused 4 in Cr. No.102 of 2012 of Somwarpet Police Station. The offences alleged are under the Karnataka Forest Act, 1963, Sections 3 and 5 of the Explosive Substances Act, 1908 as well as the relevant Rules thereunder. 2. Submission of the petitioner’s Counsel is that this Court has granted bail to the other accused who is similarly placed in Cri. P. No.3523 of 2012 (T.C. Riyaz Ahammed alias T.C. Riyaz v. The Station House Officer, Somwarpet Police Station, Somwarpet, Kodagu District (2012(5) Kar. L.J. 46 3. Taking this into consideration and after hearing the other side and on perusal of the order passed in the above-mentioned criminal petition, this petitioner is also released on bail on the same conditions. 4. Hence, I pass the following order.- Petition is allowed and bail is granted to the petitioner, subject to the following conditions.- i. Petitioner shall be released on bail on his executing a personal bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- with two solvent sureties for the likesum to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. ii. He shall not tamper or attempt to tamper any of the prosecution witnesses. iii. He shall regularly attend the Curt on all dates of hearing.
