ORDER : 1. Leave granted. 2. We have heard M/s. V.K. Bali and Dhruv Mehta, learned senior counsel for the appellants. 3. The Reference Court fixed Rs. 250/- per square yard as the market value of the subject land. The said value has been affirmed by the High Court relying upon its decision in the case of Parkash Rani vs. State of Haryana decided on October 29, 2009. 4. In paragraph 27 of the order passed in Parkash Rani (supra), the High Court noticed as follows: "Having heard the argument and perused the record, it transpires that the land of the same village i.e. Kharak Mangoli measuring 59.93 acre was acquired. The present land also forms the part of the said land. Except the present case, the other cases were decided by the learned Additional District Judge, Ambala awarding compensation tot he tune of Rs. 250/- per square yard along with other statutory benefits. The claimants seek parity with the award dated 15.12.1998 as passed by the learned Additional District Judge, Ambala. 5. We are satisfied that the market value fixed by the Reference Court @ Rs. 250/- per square yard and affirmed by the High Court does not warrant any interference in our jurisdiction under Article 136 of the Constitution of India as the same is fair and reasonable. 6. Civil Appeals are dismissed. No order as to costs.
